House rules

To ensure that Avalex recycling centres are safe for you and our employees, a number of important rules apply for bringing waste:

  • As a resident of an Avalex municipality, you can visit the Avalex recycling centres 12 times a year for free. A fee will be charged from the 13th visit. You will find the current rate in the list of charges.
  • Entering the Avalex recycle centers is at your own risk. Avalex is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the site.
  • You only have access to the recycling centre with an Avalex pass.
  • Put the offered waste materials separately in the appropriate containers. We are happy to give you advice.
  • Follow the instructions of our employees.
  • You can only pay with a bank card.
  • Keep children under the age of 12 in the car.
  • The maximum speed at the recycling centre is 5 km per hour (walking pace).
  • The Road Traffic Act applies on site.
  • Please clean up spilled waste.
  • It is not permitted to take goods or waste materials from the recycling centre. Not even if the goods are still suitable for personal use. Taking goods with you is considered theft.
  • It is not allowed to smoke on the premises.
  • Make sure that pets remain in the car during the presence in the recycling centre.
  • Employees are not obliged to help unload. This is your own responsibility.
  • It is not allowed to give tips or gifts to our employees, employees are not allowed to accept this.
  • To guarantee safety for everyone, pedestrians and cyclists are not allowed to use the weighing bridge. Report to the weighing lodge.
  • When bringing kca waste, it must be presented in proper packaging.
