Bulky waste usually consists of old furniture and contains many different materials. These materials can include wood, textiles, leather, metal and foam rubber.
Furniture that is still usable can go to the thrift store. If an object is no longer usable, its various materials can still be reused. There are benefits to disposing of bulky waste yourself compared to having it collected. If you take the bulky waste to the recycling center yourself, you can immediately dispose of it in the correct container. The bulky waste is then processed separately. However, a waste disposal lorry cannot take bulky waste away separately. We will only collect metals and pruning waste separately if you choose this category when you make your bulky waste appointment.
In other words, we can recycle more if you take it to the recycling center! This is better for the environment.
